Rainbow Sharks are a medium sized species of fish named for its shark like appearance. Despite their appearance they are typically a peaceful species that leave unrelated species alone. However, they can be territorial with other sharks though often not as much as Red tailed sharks. They grow upwards of 6" long and prefer to cruise along the bottom of the tank for food settled on the bottom, they have also been seen nibbling small amounts of algae off surfaces but are far from an algae controlling species.
