Assorted Angelfish (Pterophyllum scalare)

There are three species of angelfish in this genus, but this species is the most common. They will often grow to about 5-6" long with males being larger, and due to their unusual shape, they will appear even larger than other fish of similar length. They tend to be more territorial when breeding, but otherwise aren't typically aggressive. They come in a wide variety of colors and patterns and are one of the most recognized fish in captivity.
